Since 2015, the Chalk and Gibbs families and CG Foundation have been committed to helping families affected by epilepsy in Eastern North Carolina communities. In three years the organization has raised nearly $160,000 through the foundation's largest annual fundraising event, Playing Through for Epilepsy. Dollars raised during this time are distributed back into Eastern North Carolina communities, assisting individuals and families with their epilepsy medication payments and medical bills through their partnership with the North Carolina Epilepsy Foundation. The goal of CG Foundation is to prevent, treat and cure epilepsy. CG Foundation is a 501(c) 3 organization.
